The principal difference between WhiteWater Cleaning & Sanitizing Systems and other ozone systems is that other ozone systems sanitize, while WhiteWater Systems sanitize and clean. What does that mean to you?
As mentioned above, sanitation has traditionally been performed off hours, after the completion of production, using a combination of chemical degreasers, chemical sanitizers, and hot water. Typically, the following process is used:
- High Pressure Hot Water Pre-Rinse
- Chemical Degreaser / Foaming Agent (with dwell time)
- High Pressure Hot Water Rinse
- Chemical Sanitizing Agent
Other ozone systems simply replace step #4 with ozone. Step #4 represents about 10% of the total cost of sanitation, so the opportunity for cost savings is minimal. All you're doing is replacing chemical sanitizers with an ozone generator. You're still buying chemical degreasers. You're still paying to heat water. You're still spending many hours per day performing a 4-step sanitation process. And you still can't increase production.
WhiteWater Cleaning & Sanitizing Systems replace steps 1-4 with one, and at the most two, steps:
- Apply DualStreamTM low-pressure ozone-infused cold water and high-pressure cold water to clean and sanitize
- Apply low-pressure ozone-infused cold water to sanitize (this is an optional step)
By consolidating the 4 steps associated with conventional sanitation into a highly-efficient 1- or 2-step process, WhiteWater Systems enable customers to minimize sanitation time and labor, maximize production, and nearly eliminate the use of chemicals and hot water.
